Michael and Anne Recknagel's "Revised Rail"

This buggy was revolutionary in the sport of sand drag racing, nearly becoming the first ever buggy-configuration vehicle to break into the 2 second range. Sand drag racing takes place on a 300' race track with a sand/clay surface. Brian Weil held the A/Buggy record with a best time of 3.01 seconds for many years in this car. Some pictures of this car follow.
